Did some geo caching in the Killdeer Mountains of North Dakota
at a place called the Medicine Hole. Legend has it that the Cavalry were in
pursuit of a band of Indians. To escape the cavalry the Indians headed into the
Killdeer Mountains. Yes this is a mountain in North Dakota. When the cavalry
made it to the top of the mountains the Indians were no where to be found having
escaped into the Medicine Hole, a tunnel that goes straight down and supposedly
exists at a different location. thus providing an escape for the Indians.
