From Las Vegas we started toward Phoenix. After years of driving over Hover
Dam we finally stopped to take the tour. Please don't stop and waste you time or
money taking the guided tour. The tour cost $11, that is $11 US and for your $11
dollars I think you get about $2 worth. The most you get to do and see is an
elevator ride down to a platform that over looks all the generators on the
Nevada side of the river. See the picture below. I repeat don't pay for the
tour.
