I was suppose to start bicycling across the country starting in Anacortes Washington. Well I was such a winnie I didn't want to start in the rain and it had been raining for the last six days. So we headed east of the Cascades to try to get out of the rain. We stayed in Twisp Washington were we visited a old roommate that I had not seen in 23 years. We had dinner with Jerome and his wife Kim, unfortunately I didn't get any pictures. The next morning I started by bike trip. Because I had not biked very many miles I started with my bike unloaded and Heather followed me or drove ahead of me for the next week.

The first day of biking took me from Twisp to Omak Washington.
