The chapel at the Billy Graham Training Center (The Cove) in Asheville, North Carolina. We pulled up to the gate and were greeted by an armed guard who asked for Terry's driver's license. She took it out of sight and then returned it as she spoke on a walkie talkie, "I have two people I'm sending up." She gave us directions and after we passed the parked police officer, we got to the top of the hill where the chapel is and were met by a volunteer. He told us a little history of the place. The complex is 1500 fenced in acres. They offer religious retreats. We were then passed off to another volunteer who showed us a brief movie about the facility. We were then taken by yet another volunteer to the chapel for a brief tour. We were never left alone. Why all the security?? Was Billy Graham there? Had they received terrorist threats? A few minute side trip turned into an hour tour.
